The 2009 Aston Martin One-77
The Car James Bond Should Be Driving
Since 1964 James Bond has used Aston Martins as his preferred choice of car starting with the 1963 Aston Martin DB5. The most powerful Aston James Bond ever used was the DBS V12. However in 2009 production of the most powerful Aston ever made commenced. It was called the One-77. The 007 name couldn't be used for the car because of copyright issues. Since this is the fastest and nicest looking Aston James Bond should be driving this if there is ever another Bond film.
The One-77 is a front-engine rear-wheel drive supercar featuring a naturally aspirated 7.3 liter V12 engine that produces a good 750 horsepower. Aston Martin claimed that it was the most powerful naturally aspirated engine in the world. Top speed of the One-77 is 220.007 mph and naught to sixty takes approximately 3.5 seconds.
The One-77 weighs 3,594 pounds. The tires used are reliable Pirelli P-Zero Corsas. The One-77 uses a carbon-fibre monocoque chassis and a handcrafted aluminium body. The car uses a strengthened version of the DB9's 6-speed automated manual transmission and height-adjusted pushrod suspension that is coupled with dynamic stability control. The One-77 also uses Carbon Ceramic Matrix brakes.
Now for a shocker. The price of the wonderful One-77 is $1.4 million. However you'll be paying for a car that not only looks good but drives good too.
