The Galmer Arbitrage GT
A Supercar From Thailand
Who would've thought Thailand would want to build their own supercar? Well apparently they have. It's called the Galmer Arbitrage GT.
The Arbitrage GT is a mid-rear-engine supercar with either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The engine used is a Chevrolet LS7 V8 that delivers 505 hp. Top speed of the Arbitrage GT is currently unknown as the car hasn't been track tested yet. The engine is coupled to a custom made GEARFOX 6-speed transaxle.
It's said the Arbitrage GT will have a carbon fiber monocoque chassis and a mostly carbon fiber body.
Now here's a fact about the Arbitrage GT that will either scare you or make you really happy. This car will be available in the United States as a kit car due to the large homologation cost. The Arbitrage GT will be exported to the United States without its powertrain and most of the parts that have been sourced outside Thailand. All of the export Arbitrage GTs will go to a staging area in the United States that will do the final consolidation of the parts and process the final "packaging" for each car.
There is currently no price for the Arbitrage GT at the moment.
