The 2015 Arash AF8

A British Supercar With Ferrari And McLaren Looks

On February 28, 2014, the British automaker Arash unveiled it's latest supercar. That supercar is called the AF8.
The Arash AF8 is a mid-engine rear-wheel drive supercar equipped with a 7.0 liter LS7 V8 based from a Chevrolet Corvette Z06 that delivers 550 hp @ 6,500 RPM. Torque @ RPM is 472 @ 5,000. Top speed is 200 mph. Naught to sixty takes 3.5 seconds. The engine is coupled to a 6-speed manual. However given the stories that Corvette engines tend to catch fire makes me worry about this car's engine reliability.
The AF8's body is made from a combination of steel, aluminium, and carbon. The side-impact beams are made of high-strength steel. The roll cage system is strengthened with carbon. The floor is made of a Kevlar-carbon composite. The tires come from Michelin and are some of the biggest they make being 345 mm wide.
The cost the Arash AF8 is unknown but is believed to be about $230,000.
If the engine isn't as dangerous as people say it will be then this could turn out to be a very good car. The only other features that bother me about this car is the shape and poor visibility of the rear-view window and the area around it.
