The 2004 Chrysler ME Four-Twelve

Chrysler's Very Own Hypercar

In 2004 Chrysler decided that it needed to make more than just Dodge Vipers. Under much secrecy Chrysler teamed up with people in their company to make an absolute technological monster they called the ME Four-Twelve.
The ME Four-Twelve is a mid-engine rear-wheel drive hypercar equipped with an all-aluminum quad-turbo 6.0 liter V-12 that delivers 850 hp @ 5,750 rpm. Top speed is a monstrous 248 mph. Naught to sixty takes 2.9 seconds which is incredible considering that this car was built before the original Bugatti Veyron. The engine is coupled to a 7-speed Ricardo Double Clutch Transmission.
The ME Four-Twelve uses a carbon fiber bodywork that is coupled to a carbon fiber and aluminum honeycomb monocoque tub. The support structure is made of aluminum crush structures and chrome-moly sub-frames. The suspensions used are double wishbones, aluminum control arms, stainless-steel pushrods, a blade configured anti-roll bar, and horizontally opposed coil-over dampers that have electronically controlled compression and rebound tuning.
The ME Four-Twelve's brakes consist of 15.0 inch ventilated carbon ceramic composite disc brake rotors that have six-piston aluminum mono block calipers for increased braking performance in every possible driving situation.
The ME Four-Twelve weighs just 2,880 pounds.
Had this car made it into mass-production it would have likely cost over $1 million. However such a price is to be expected from such a technological masterpiece.
