The 2013 Jaguar F-Type Convertible

One Of Jaguar's Nicest Cars

Ever wanted a sports car that drives good but you were on a budget. If so the 2013 Jaguar F-Type Convertible might be the answer for you.
The F-Type Convertible is a front-engine rear-wheel drive sports. The original version of the F-Type uses a 3 liter supercharged petrol engine that delivers 335 hp. Top speed of the original F-Type is 161 mph. Naught to sixty takes 5.1 seconds. The engine is coupled to an 8-speed automatic which makes driving easy but boring.
The F-Type uses a double-wishbone front and rear suspension that includes adaptive dampers and adjustable suspension settings that let the driver adjust ride and handling. The F-Type also has twenty-five different settings for road conditions and driving styles. That is a lot. If you put the F-Type into Sport mode it makes the engine sound louder.
The F-Type has an all-aluminium chassis. Sound and vibration insulation is provided by a special underbody tray and engine mounts, as well as a double bulkhead between the engine bay and passenger compartment.
One interesting fact about the F-Type Convertible is that its fabric hood can rise and lower itself in 12 seconds, and can be used when the car is moving at 30 mph which is impressive.
The price for a F-Type Convertible in the United States is $69,000.
