The 2005 Koenigsegg CCX
My Uncle's Favorite Car To Drive On Forza Motorsport 4
This blog page is made to commemorate my uncle's birthday. As a birthday present I decided to write about one of his favorite cars to drive on Forza Motorsport 4. That car is called the Koenigsegg CCX.
The CCX is a rear mid-engine rear-wheel drive supercar or hypercar that is equipped with a 4.7 liter V8 (twin s/c gasoline/ethanol). Unlike it's predecessor the CC8S, the CCX's engine isn't made by Ford but by Koenigsegg themselves. The CCX's V8 produces a whopping 795 hp at a very good 7,000 rpm and 679 lb-ft at 5,700 ft. of torque while running on 91 octane gasoline. Top speed is a massive 245 mph. No wonder my uncle loves to drive this car. The engine is coupled to either a Cima 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automated manual. Power is fed to the wheels via a torque-sensitive limited-slip differential. Naught to sixty takes a good 3.2 seconds.
The CCX's chassis is made of carbon fiber reinforced with Kevlar and aluminum honeycomb. While forged allow wheels come as regular on the CCX you can as an option have carbon fiber wheels installed instead. The brakes are made of carbon ceramic and feature 8 piston calipers. The tires used on the CCX are Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires. Total weight of the CCX is 3,210 pounds.
The price for a CCX in the United States is $4,850,000 but I think the price is worth it.
