The 2012 Acura NSX Concept
The New NSX
The original Honda/Acura NSX was an incredible car when it was created. So incredible in fact it sent some companies such as Ferrari back to the drawing board. In 2012 Acura decided to create a second-generation NSX which they decided to call the NSX Concept.
The HSV-010 GT is a mid-engine all-wheel drive hybrid supercar equipped with a 90 degree V6 that is actually derived from the F1 engine McLaren-Honda will use in 2015. unfortunately Acura refused to comment on the amount of horsepower and top speed the 2012 NSX will receive. What I do know is that the engine will send power to the rear-wheels and will be augmented by a single electric motor. The additonal two electric motors can immediately send negative or positive torque to the front wheels during cornering for better handling and efficiency. One of the electric motors will be coupled to a dual-clutch transmission.
The weight of the 2012 NSX is kept low through the use of a high-tech platform made from lightweight materials.
The cost of the 2012 NSX is currently unknown.
If the 2012 NSX drives anything like the original NSX then I would expect it to drive very well.
