     Have you ever wanted a sports car that will make you look wealthy and important? If so the 2004 Aston Martin DB9 might be the car for you.

     The DB9 is a front-engine rear-wheel drive luxury sports car that was originally equipped with a 6 liter V-12 from the V12 Vanquish. However by 2013 the engine was changed into a 5.9 liter V-12 that produces 510 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque. The old 6 liter engine produced 450 hp at 6,000 rpm. Top speed of the DB9 was 186 mph but engine changes reduced it to 183 mph. Naught to sixty was reduced from 4.9 seconds to 4.1 seconds. The engine is connected to a 6-speed automatic and manual.

     The DB9's body structure is made of aluminium and composites melded together mechanically fixed self-piercing rivets and robotic assisted adhesive bonding techniques. The DB9 also has anti-roll bars and double-wishbone suspension that is supported by coil-springs. The rear suspension has anti-squat and anti-lift technology. The DB9 contains three ride modes which are Normal, Sport, and Track.

     The tires used on the DB9 are Pirelli P-Zeros. The brakes are made of carbon-ceramic with six-piston calipers in the front and four-piston calipers in the back.

     The cost of an Aston Martin DB9 in America is $183,700 which is almost Ferrari 360 money.    

     This car does have it's downsides as said by many automotive enthusiasts. It's said to have cramped back seating, the cabriolet version is said to be "wobbly," the satnav is poor, and the car supposedly doesn't turn well. However automotive enthusiasts have also said that the DB9 has one of the most liked and comfortable interiors as well as one of the nicest appearances. I have drove a DB9 Coupe on Forza Motorsport 4 and it seems to have good visibility from the driver's seat, has plenty of tire grip, and turns good but not great. I still however like the DB9 a lot and recommend it to people who play race car games or can afford one in real life.
